Before you get started.
Do I still need to review my result?
Yes. Review your result and correct where needed. Automatic detection can miss data or flag it incorrectly. Context can also make someone identifiable.
Anonymisation or pseudonymisation?
Anonymisation removes selected personal data without a reversal key. Pseudonymisation replaces it with labels. The corresponding reversal key lets you undo that replacement later.
Keep the reversal key securely and separately from the document you share. In both modes, check whether someone can still be identified from the remaining information.
How are credits counted?
One credit for each word you actually anonymise or pseudonymise. Unchanged words cost nothing. We count words separated by spaces or other whitespace in the original text being replaced.
For example: replacing “Lena Voorbeeld” costs 2 credits. If that name appears three times, it costs 6 credits. An email address without spaces counts as one word. In a batch, all modified words are added together.
A new anonymisation or pseudonymisation is counted again. Failed processing costs no credits. Reviewing, downloading and restoring text are also free of credits. Unused credits do not roll over to the next month.
Can I process scans and multiple files?
Yes. Supported formats include PDF, Word, Excel and text. OCR helps read text from scans. Add up to 20 files, with a combined maximum of 20 MB per batch.

What happens to my data?
Detection runs on the application server, without an external AI service. Results and reversal keys are stored encrypted. You can use your own vault key for storage; the server can read the text during processing.
Set retention periods for results and keys. Without a configured period, that content is retained until deletion. Read the full security explanation and the data processing agreement.
Are extra features tied to a more expensive plan?
The plans differ in their number of credits. Your organisation administrator decides which extra features are visible, such as projects, review and API integrations. This keeps the app simple when you only need the basics.
